Another popular and classical Christmas ‘market is the Handicraft Fair in Plaza de España, that is thirty now. There are more than 2000 stands in which you can find a wide variety of products, from jelwery, ceramic, pottery, toys or glass to headgear or binding.

Opened from 9th December to January 5th, from 11 am to 9 pm, except 24th and 31st December, opened until 3 pm. This market will be closed the 25th December and 1st January.
Another popular market in Madrid is “Mercadillo del Gato”. It is becoming a hiker, in Christmas and in the rest of the year. You will find gifts, handicraft, fashion, decoration, cosmetics and much more. During Christmas, this market offers two locations. There is also Nativity scenes exhibition, live music and many surprises more. From 1st to 10th December, you have a date in Hotel Westin Palace, and from 15th to 5th January, in Gran Vía, 13, from 11am to 9 pm.
